We began the day with a birthday party for my step-daughter.
The birthday girl is in 4-H so . . . the birthday cake.
On the way to Lexington for the festivities at VMI (Va Military Institute).

My favorite part of the day was watching the hot air balloons.
I really, really, REALLY wanted to be in one of these but it didn't work out this time. Maybe next year.
